From that scan data, TWG produced a Revit model of the existing building and the proposed restroom addition within the same environment. Finally, TWG created a Twinmotion rendering of both the existing structure and the new addition— delivering photorealistic visualizations that gave stakeholders and decision-makers a clear vision of the finished project before design approval.

TWG deployed the Leica RTC360 throughout Peoria Players Theatre — capturing high-density point cloud data of the interior and exterior in a single coordinated scan. The scanner documented every surface and spatial relationship with precision. Walls, openings, and the building envelope were all captured in three dimensions without disruption to theatre operations.

From that point cloud data, TWG’s team built a Revit model of the existing building. The model captured the theatre’s actual geometry accurately.

Next, TWG modeled the proposed restroom addition within the same Revit environment. By placing the new design within the scanned building model, architects could evaluate spatial relationships and design coordination. In addition, this approach allowed designers to assess how the addition would integrate with the existing structure.

Finally, TWG rendered both the existing theatre and the restroom addition in Twinmotion. These photorealistic renderings showed stakeholders exactly how the completed project would look from multiple viewpoints. As a result, theatre leadership could evaluate the addition’s visual impact and spatial integration without requiring technical expertise to interpret architectural drawings.
