Sketches communicate intent — but photorealistic renderings communicate reality. For the Waldschmidt bath remodel, TWG partnered with Donald White Architect to deliver a detailed 3D bathroom rendering the entire project team could build from. Starting in Revit and finishing in Twinmotion, TWG captured every detail of the finished space before construction began.
The Challenge
Architectural sketches communicate a design concept — but they rarely tell the whole story. Spatial relationships, material finishes, and proportion are difficult to fully convey on paper. As a result, design decisions become harder to evaluate, feedback becomes harder to give, and the risk of mid-project changes increases.
TWG’s Approach
To solve that problem, TWG built a detailed Revit model of the proposed renovation directly from the architect’s sketches. From there, TWG brought that model into Twinmotion and produced photorealistic interior renderings — giving the project team accurate materials, lighting, and spatial detail in a format everyone could clearly evaluate.
What TWG Delivered
- Revit Modeling: TWG converted design sketches into a 3D model of the existing space and proposed bathroom remodel.
- Twinmotion Renderings: From that model, TWG produced photorealistic interior renderings with accurate materials, lighting, and fully realized layout.
- Conceptual Documentation: Together, these deliverables gave the project team clear visual documentation to support confident design decisions.
The Outcome
As a result, the project team had a photorealistic view of the finished bathroom before decisions were locked in. The architect clearly communicated design intent, the team gathered feedback early, and everyone moved into construction with a shared understanding and a plan they could trust.
