Scope: Capture high-resolution laser scan data and deliver an E57-format point cloud file​

Overview: The Wassi Group was commissioned by PowerCurve to perform a detailed 3D laser scan of wind turbine blades in Nicaragua. The objective was to provide precise geometric data to support PowerCurve’s aerodynamic upgrade solutions, which aim to enhance turbine efficiency and performance.​

Execution: Our team deployed advanced laser scanning equipment to capture accurate spatial data of the turbine blades. The collected data was processed and compiled into an E57-format point cloud file, meeting the client’s specifications for integration into their optimization processes.​

Leadership Involvement: Company President Eric Bergstresser personally oversaw the project, traveling to Nicaragua to ensure quality control and to strengthen client relations.​

Outcome: The successful delivery of the E57 file provided PowerCurve with the essential data required for their blade enhancement initiatives, contributing to their mission of maximizing energy output from wind turbines.
